The Ukrainian pianist Anna Ulaieva was born in Russia and lives in Austria now. She received her first violin and piano lessons at the age of five. At the age of eleven, Anna decided to focus on the piano as her primary instrument and was instructed by Prof. Nina Naiditch at the M. V. Lysenko Music School for talented children in Kiev in the Ukraine. Afterwards, she studied piano at the “Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music” in Kiev under the guidance of Yuri Kot. Her extraordinary talents were honored with her reception in the program “New Names of Ukraine”. From 2009, she has been studying at the University of Music and Arts in Graz, Austria under Prof. Milana Chernyavska and graduated with honor in 2017.

Anna Ulaieva is winner of numerous international competitions. Her latest success is the 1st prize at Malta International Piano Competition 2018, the finals of world's biggest series of music competitions. More than 720 pianists of 70 nations participated to win one of the biggest prizes in history (1st prize 100.000€). Another milestone was the 1st prize and winning of a Blüthner Grand Piano at the Blüthner Golden Tone Award 2013.

Furhter prizes are won at A. Scriabin Piano Competition Grosseto (2nd prize, 2018), German Piano Open Berlin (1st prize, 2017), Brahms Piano Competition Detmold (1st prize, 2017), Isidor Bajic Piano Memorial Competition (2nd prize, 2016), Josef Dichler Piano Competition (1st prize, 2011), Jeunes Talents (1st prize, 2011), Vladimir Horowitz Memorial Competition, Giuliano Pecar Competition, Silvio Bengalli Prize, Martha Debelli Competition as solo- and chamber music performer (1st prize, 2009, 2011, 2013).

As a soloist, Anna Ulaieva debuted as early as 2001 in Kiev with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Ukraine. Since her debut, she has regularly performed with renowned orchestras, e.g. with the Chamber Orchestra of Bavarian Radio and with the National Symphonic Orchestra of the Ukraine. Furthermore, she took part in diverse festivals such as the Gogol Fest in Kiev, the “Mozartiade” , “The days of Music in Waging”, “Inselkonzerte auf Herrenchiemsee” in Germany, the ”Next Generation”and “Gstaad New Year Music” in Switzerland.

Since 2015 Anna is leading the piano class of specially gifted students at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria).

2016 Anna founded the International Masterclass “Gifted in Music” Kapfenberg (giftedinmusic.at) and is heading as artistic director.
